Most small businesses I work with are held together by the founder's energy, a few spreadsheets, and goodwill. It works until it doesn't. Growth stalls. Quality slips. The founder is doing three jobs and none of them well. AI could be doing half of it, but nobody has the time to set it up.

The problem is almost never the people. It is almost always the systems. No real strategy, no consistent process, no measurable operating rhythm. Without those, more effort just produces more chaos.

PHASE 01 · WEEKS 1–2
Understand.

We get an honest picture of how the business actually operates right now. What is working, what is not, and what is actively getting in the way of growth.

No assumptions. We map the current state before touching anything. Revenue, delivery, operations, systems, team. I want the real picture, not the version you tell your accountant. Without that, everything downstream is guessing.

PHASE 02 · WEEKS 2–4
Strategise.

Using first principles, we design a clear path from where the business is to where it needs to be. We define what the business needs to do consistently, how those things should work, and what needs to change first.

Not a copy of what worked for someone else. A strategy built for your business, your market, your stage. You leave this phase with a documented strategy, clear priorities, and a sequence. What to do first, what to do next, what not to do at all.

PHASE 03 · WEEKS 4–10
Build.

We build and deploy the systems that deliver the strategy. Where AI can handle a task more efficiently than a person doing it manually, we build that in. Where it cannot, we do not force it.

The goal is a business that runs on systems, not on the founder being the system. Workflows documented. AI wired in where it belongs. Manual work removed where it can be. The team using the tools, not working around them.

ONGOING
Review.

We act, assess, and adjust. Regular check-ins to make sure what we built is working, fix what is not, and keep raising the floor as the business grows.

Strategy is not a document you write once. It is a living thing that needs feedback. We set an operating rhythm so the business can improve on its own, without needing me forever. That is the job.

I spent over a decade in corporate leadership, working on high-value contracts and close enough to the inside of large organisations to see how they really operate. Most are inefficient. Most lack clarity on what they are trying to achieve. Most mistake being busy for making progress.

Alongside that, I consulted with small and medium-sized businesses. The problems were the same in miniature. Lots of effort, not enough structure. Over the past few years I have built my own businesses, applied what worked, and refined the approach.

I do not bring a deck of best practices. I bring a process for building a business that actually runs, grounded in first principles and designed AI-first from the start.

How is this different from coaching?
Coaching is me helping you do the work on yourself and how you run things. Consulting is me working on the business with you. We produce strategy, systems, and workflows that stay after I leave. Some clients do both. Most pick the one that matches what they need right now.

Do you work on site or remote?
Primarily remote, delivered via video and shared documents. If your business is UK-based and there is a clear need for an on-site workshop, we can build that into the engagement.

What tools do you build in?
Claude is the AI layer. GoHighLevel is the usual operating platform for marketing, sales, and client delivery. Beyond that, we use what your business already uses unless it is actively getting in the way. I am not here to sell you software.

How big are the businesses you work with?
Typically one to ten people, founder-led. Sometimes smaller, occasionally larger if the structure is still lean. If you are running a 200-person organisation, I am not your person.

What if we already have some systems in place?
Good. Phase 01 maps what you have. If it is working, we keep it. If it is not, we replace it. I am not precious about building from scratch. The goal is a business that runs, not a project I can take credit for.

Will you train our team on what we build?
Yes. Training is built into the engagement. A system nobody on your team can run is not a system, it is a liability. By the end, your people are operating the tools, not working around them.

What happens after the engagement ends?
You have the systems, the strategy, and the operating rhythm. Most clients want some form of ongoing review, which is priced separately and flexible. Some go it alone. Either is fine. The goal was always that you would not need me forever.
